Fawn United Methodist Church
Ways to Give
Fawn partners and regular attendees may give their offering during the worship services on Sunday mornings. The offering plate is by the door at the entrance of the sanctuary during the contemporary service and it is passed during the traditional service. If you are a guest, please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering.
FUMC is utilizing a system for direct online giving that is both user friendly and flexible. The Online Giving option is entirely electronic and is deposited directly to the church bank account. You can choose to make a one-time gift or set up your recurring monthly pledge. This is a simple way to show your regular monthly support for our church programs and needs.
We have set a goal to raise $10,000 during 2017 to meet missionary goals of our church. This money is used to bless others in our community, country, and around the world. If you would like to be a part of this great cause, write Mission Goal in the memo line of your check.
Fawn Mission Central HUB (A.C.T.S.)
Fawn Church, in connection with other local churches, has opened a mission outpost. This mission outpost, known as Fawn HUB, is an extension of the United Methodist Mission Central Warehouse in Mechanicsburg, PA. If you would like to give financially to this project that will meet real needs in peoples' lives, please write Mission Central HUB in the memo line of your check. If you would like to give of your time or in other ways to the HUB, please contact our HUB coordinator Pattie Herbert, (717) 683-6615 email@example.com
Ongoing Ministry and Outreach
As a church striving to be in ministry and to reach more people with the life changing message of Jesus Christ, we are continually stretching our finances to change as many peoples' lives as possible. If you would like to help God change lives through Fawn Church, we would love to have you partner with us and donate what you are able. You can send a check or cash to our mailing address or join us in worship and contribute during the offering.
"Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
2 Corinthians 9:7
Giving is God's way. Giving has at its core a reciprocal, dual effect. Giving is God's primary way of supporting ministry. In other words, when we hear the mandate in Malachi 3:10 to “bring our tithes,” it is so that there may be provision--whatever is needed to do ministry. However, the dual effect that is also reciprocal is in God's promise that, if we give from our hearts, He will "open up the windows of heaven and pour you out such a blessing that you will not have room for it." Giving is God's way of providing blessings to both: the one who gives and the one who receives. All of us should join God's giving plan and experience the abundance.
