With the new building there have been increased costs, particularly with the heating and electricity. Heating costs have totaled thus far, $16,890.66 and electric bills have totaled $6,101.39 through May 31, 2008.

The way we use our time, money, and belongings reveals our values. As Christians, those who follow the example of Christ, we realize that all that we have and all that we are comes as a gift from God. God loans it to us for our use. When we begin to see our giving in this light, we realize that our offerings to God are part of acknowledging His goodness to us. Developing a life-long pattern of generous sharing doesn't just happen. We have to plan for it and be open to God's leading. You can never out-give God!
